Netflix assured that the suspension was issued due to government guidelines and safety precautions. No further information has been provided. But, certainly, Netflix has indeed joined an expanding list of entertainment companies that are shutting down due to COVID-19.

The majority of the Netflix offices have been shut down, the employees are working from home. Shows under post-production are being worked on remotely. However, only some of the work can be done remotely.


We all want to know when will this end and wish for normalcy to restore. The government has not released any official statement regarding this but their betting in the summer of this year. We reckon that Netflix is also banking on the same information because some of their production schedules include July and August.
