Well, the world has just seen Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Both of the devices are high end and stars latest Snapdragon 835 processor. Even Xiaomi also introduces Mi 6 which features Snapdragon 835.
OnePlus fans are yet to see flagship smartphone of this year. Previously, we have heard several rumors regarding OnePlus 5 which is the successor of previous year’s OnePlus 3 and 3T. OnePlus 5 is going to be a high-end smartphone.
A few days ago, mobile retail website OppoMart listed OnePlus 5 , the listing reveals that it will feature a dual rear camera setup and the price of the phone will be $449. The listing also reveals that the phone will feature a huge 5.5-inch Quad-HD display which will share the resolution of 2560×1440 pixel. The device will run on Snapdragon 835 processor and will have 6GB RAM.
The phone will be available in two internal storage variant 64/128GB. The phone will feature 12megapixel rear dual-camera along with 8 Megapixel front camera. The phone will be running Oxygen OS based on Android Nougat.
the new leak suggests that earlier specs might be incorrect. A Supposed screenshot posted on shows that the upcoming OnePlus 5 will include 128GB storage alongside not 6GB of RAM, but 8GB of RAM. Few trustable sources claim that the company is going to launch the phone next month!
The Galaxy S8 already delivers a remarkable performance in real life tests setting a new standard for 2017 Android smartphones, and we can only expect the OnePlus 5 and every phone that will pack the same Qualcomm processor to match it. At the same time, recent performance comparisons with the iPhone 7 showed that the Galaxy S8 may be the fastest Android phone in town, but it still can’t touch the iPhone. The OnePlus isn’t likely to outpace the iPhone 7 in the same tests either.
Well, if the leak is yet to be believed then without any doubt, OnePlus 5 will be the most powerful phone this year. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment box below.
